Sandford, Jeremy
   England. Writer and amateur musician. He became well known for his play Cathy Come Home, dealing with the issue of the homeless. He had many friends among the Gypsy and New Traveler communities and was for a short time editor of the periodical Romano Drom. His books include The Gypsies, reissued as Rokkering to the Gorgios (2002), and Songs of the Road, in addition to the music video Spirit of the Gypsies.
